about the designer…

Debbie Kuo is the designer behind Kuo Ting Jewelry based in New York City.  Debbie has been captivated with original artistic design all her life and with her background in the arts, attending the Fashion Institute of Technology for jewelry and fashion design and working for the most prominent art collections in the world including the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, jewelry design is the ideal way for her to blend the colors, forms and textures she is attracted to.  Her current line is a playful combination of semi-precious gemstones and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces from around the globe that possess a sophisticated edge.

Debbie always seeks out high quality gemstones and distinctive vintage pieces, mixing vermeil gold, sterling silver, brass and resin. Her current collection is a reflection of the playful yet sophisticated style recognized most recently by Lucky and Martha Stewart Weddings magazines who have photographed pieces from the current collection. The current Winter 2008 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings features 2 locket necklaces in the story, “To Have and To Hold”.
